Below 250°C, silver/alumina is very active for the selective reduction of NOx with hydrocarbons or ammonia (HC or NH3-SCR) in the presence of hydrogen. Here, we combine flow reactor studies with diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy (DRIFTS) to evaluate the hydrogen effect on the reaction mechanism of NH3-SCR.
