Commercial Cu-zeolite SCR catalyst was hydrothermally aged and evaluated utilizing 4-step test protocol and numerous characterization techniques. This work provides valuable understanding of catalyst deactivation mechanisms and laboratory conditions necessary to simulate actual field aging, important as a rapid assessment tool for verifying improved performance of promising new catalyst formulations.
