Catalysts based on multiwalled carbon nanotubes-supported iron oxide were obtained for methylene blue removal from wastewater by Fenton reaction. The functionalization of CNT prepared by chemical vapor decomposition or spray pyrolysis is essential to obtain active catalysts based on magnetite. The most active catalyst was obtained by spray pyrolysis.
