NH3 storage isotherms provide direct estimates of NH3 adsorption energetics as a function of NH3 coverage without bias from mass transfer or chemical reactions, making it possible to identify modeling strategies and develop parameter estimates for SCR device models as well as provide insight into catalyst details that control performance.
