The development of IT-SOFCs requires close coupling between experimental and numerical tools, to quantify the contributions of chemical, electrochemical and physical phenomena. A comprehensive model is applied to rationalize the polarization behavior and the EIS results of a novel SDC-based IT-SOFC, tested under conditions spanning from biogas to syngas mixtures.
