Photocatalytic Reduction of CO2 By PEI Functionalized TiO2

Photocatalytic reduction of CO₂ to hydrocarbons by TiO₂-based catalyst is hampered by low efficiency resulted from the low affinity of CO₂ toward to TiO₂. In-situ infrared spectroscopy and mass spectrometer were applied to investigate the feasibility of employing polyethyleneimine functionalized TiO₂ to capture and photocatalytic reduction of CO₂.
