Ballroom B (Lawrence Convention Center)
The surface chemistry during aqueous phase reforming of glycerol and glucose over Pt/ɣ-Al2O3 was studied using in-situ attenuated total reflection IR spectroscopy. Surface intermediates were identified and the kinetics for their formation and consumption were investigated. The results showed that Pt/ɣ-Al2O3 contains sites with distinct differences in there activity.
