P-W-B-137 Glycerol Conversion in the Presence of Carbon Dioxide on γ-Al2O3 Supported Ni, Co, Cr and Zn Catalysts

This work investigates  the selectivity and conversion  of Glycerol with CO2.  Co and Ni catalysts produced the same compounds: water, esters C4+, oxiranes, ketones C3-C6. . Semi-batch operation was found to be more efficient in terms of production and yield of liquid and gas products even at 250 °C.
