O-W-407-2 Optimization of Niws Species By Tuning the pH of the Ni-Cydta Solution for Niws on Al2O3 Catalysts

The synthesis and characterization of sulfided NiW on Al2O3 catalysts prepared with Ni and the chelating agent CyDTA was studied. The variation of pH for impregnating Ni-CyDTA helped to optimize the formation of mixed “NiWS” species and to synthesize highly active catalysts in the hydrodesulfurization of 4,6 dimethyldibenzothiophene.
