Thermal Stability of ZSM-5 Zeolite Under Fast Pyrolysis Conditions

Previous reports showed that ZSM-5 is structurally stable at the high temperature required for CFP (600-700 °C). However, the performed characterizations did not grasp all the dynamic changes that may occur under reaction conditions. In contrast, our results suggest the catalyst thermally degrades within hours at high temperature (700-900 °C).
