RhPt supported on lantana, ceria and zirconia were evaluated as catalysts on the steam reforming of ethanol. Ceria was the best support due to its CH₄ reforming capacity at high temperature, elevated metal dispersion and active metals reducibility, promoted by a high Ce-metal interaction. This delivered mayor H2 production.
