Rh-based catalysts, active in the Catalytic Partial Oxidation (CPO) of CH4, were prepared by electrosynthesis on FeCrAlloy foams, and characterized at the different steps of their life cycle (after calcination, reduction and catalytic tests) by electron (FEG-SEM/EDS) and synchrotron radiation (XRF/XRPD and XRF/XANES) based microscopic techniques
