P-Tu-B-142 Evaluation of Fe/Al2O3 and Fe-K/Al2O3 As Reverse Water-Gas Shift Catalysts

The reverse water-gas shit is catalyzed with greater than 99 % selectivity to CO on Fe/Al2O3 and Fe-K/Al2O3 catalysts. A H2/CO2 gas-switching methodology is introduced to quantify the contributions of redox and associative (i.e. via formate) reaction pathways.
