We report the characterization of intermetallic nanoalloy catalysts with high propane dehydrogenation selectivity using advanced in situ synchrotron X-ray techniques in addition to FTIR spectroscopy. This work is important for furthering the understanding of intermetallic alloy formation though reduction of oxide components of catalysts.
