Endo- to Exo-Isomerization of Tetrahydrotricyclopentadiene over Heterogeneous Solid Catalysts

Until today, isomerization of endo to exo-THTCPD reaction has always been used homogeneous AlCl₃. However, AlCl₃ catalytic process has problem of environmental, product separation process. Thus, heterogeneous reaction has need to solve the problems of homogeneous liquid AlCl₃ catalyst. In this report, zeolite catalysts were used for isomerization of THTCPD reaction.
