Our work demonstrates how the nature of supports affect the selectivity and activity of the silver catalyst, choosing some of the most prominent examples of metal oxide supports: SiO2, Al2O3 and TiO2. We found silver catalyst supported on TiO2 has highest selectivity towards the unsaturated alcohol (Allyl alcohol).
