The objective of this work was to study Ni-catalysts supported on yttrium-doped ceria for the biogas reforming.Y₂O₃–CeO₂ solid-solution supported nickel catalysts showed a good catalytic activity in the oxidative reforming of biogas and low rate of carbon formation. The oxygen vacancies in the Y₂O₃–CeO₂ solid-solution improved the catalytic performance.
