This study details the effect of precious metal type, space velocity (SV) and HC level on NO oxidation capability of commercial DOCs. NO2 can benefit overall emission performance if present by increasing the rate of ammonia SCR NOx reaction and passively burning soot in filters if temperatures are favorable.
