Metal Organic Framework Mediated Synthesis of Highly Stable and Active Fto Catalysts

We present a new strategy to produce highly dispersed Fe_xC embedded in a matrix of porous carbon. Very high Fe loadings are achieved while maintaining an optimal dispersion of the Fe_xC phase when a MOF is used as precursor. The resultant catalyst is very active and stable during FTO operation.
