Three catalytic processes for ethylbenzene manufacture using ethylene, bio-ethanol and FCC off gas as raw materials have been commercialized. Based on different requirements for process diversity, kinds of catalyst using ZSM-5 zeolite as the active component and further modifications were designed and utilized to enhance catalytic performances.
