Cerium-based catalyst containing Cu (CZCu) has high CO oxidation performance at low temperatures under simulated diesel exhaust conditions; however, CZCu suffered from deactivation upon hydrothermal aging. In this work, we discovered a thermally stable Cu-based CO oxidation catalyst that rivals Pt-based catalyst for CO oxidation even after severe hydrothermal aging.
