Determining the Strength of Bronsted Acid Sites for Hydrodewaxing over Shape Selective Catalysts

The performance of molecular sieve catalysts can be improved by applying efficient screening methods that provide both the kinetics and active site properties simultaneously. Here, a study of the n-paraffin hydroconversion was performed, and it is shown that effective acid strength can be measured from parameters measured under reaction conditions.
