This work probes the hypothesis that K/Mo supported on a family of MgAl oxide (MMO) and carbon (C) mixed-supports may facilitate tuning of higher alcohol selectivity (due MoS2 domains on the MMO support) and higher alcohol productivity (due to MoS2 domains on the C support).
