For the clean and convenient use of coal, coal is converted into methane via sygthetic gas. To enhance heating value of synthetic natural gas, iron catalysts were used in methanation reaction by enhancing C2-C4 hydrocarbons selectivity. In this study, iron-zinc catalyst were applied in methanation reaction, and catalytic activity was investigated.
