Presence of sulfur in the exhaust deactivates the performance of aftertreatment system and its removal requires high temperature exposure that causes fuel penalty and hydrothermal aging of the aftertreatment system. This work describes strategies of sulfur removal from SCR catalyst at low temperature by utilizing the exhaust gas components (Chemical deSOx).
