Synthesis and Catalytic Applications of Hollow Microsphere Oxides

This presentation introduces a new synthesis method for hollow microsphere mixed oxides which have significantly higher macro porosity compared to their solid particle counterparts.  The materials showed superior performance for various applications, such as catalysis and adsorption, especially under high flow conditions where low mass transfer limitation is preferred.
