Ammonia selective catalytic reduction (NH3-SCR) is one of the most efficient technologies used for NOx emission control in diesel engines. Cu-exchanged SSZ-13 zeolites show very high activity and selectivity over a wide temperature window for the NH3-process. Here, we report insights in the deactivation mechanism for the Cu-SSZ-13 zeolite system.
