Zeolites have been successfully synthesized and characterized using fractions of Kaolin clay. Larger surface araes can be achieved by increasing crystallization time. The synthesized zeolites have shown good activity in hydrocarbon conversion to petrochemicals and could find application in the petrochemical industry.
