O-W-Com-14 Advantages of MgAlOx Over Al2O3 as a Support Material for Potassium-based High Temperature Lean NOx Traps

Potential high temperature NOx storage materials, K/Pt/MgAlOx, were formulated, exhibiting much better performance than conventional Al2O3-based catalysts. Furthermore,  after accelerated thermal aging, no Pt sintering occurs. With the help of advanced characterization techniques, new fundamental insights into catalyst structure were obtained in explaining the stability of these catalysts.
