P-W-BRC-109 Hydrocracking of Hexadecane on Noble Metal/Silica-alumina Catalysts: The Effect of Metal Loading of Palladium, Platinum and Iridium

Bifunctional catalysts based on a noble metal (Pd, Pt or Ir) and amorphous silica-alumina were prepared with different metal loading. The catalysts were tested in the hydrocracking of hexadecane. Activity and selectivity data are presented, together with the effects of deactivation and regeneration.
