P-W-BRC-108 Spatio-Temporal Studies of NOx Reduction over Pt-Rh/BaO/Al2O3: Elucidating the Role of Intermediate Isocyanates

NH3 formation pathways are investigated during cyclic operation of LNT with reductants CO, H2 and C3Hon a Pt-Rh/BaO/Al2O3 monolithic catalyst. The findings are critical in developing an optimal design for the LNT-SCR combined system. Spatial and temporal profiles of localized species concentrations and catalyst temperatures are also obtained.
