A Facile Approach for the Synthesis of Nano Crystalline Niobia/Carbon Composites for Aqueous Phase Reactions

This work shows that an approach to generate nano-crystalline niobia that prevents coarsening into large niobia crystallites which are seen on a pure niobia. The longer term tests in the aqueous phase reaction of n-butanol demonstrate the superior performance of the embedded niobia catalysts.
