The aim of the present work is to formulate a mechanism for NO oxidation and Standard SCR reactions accounting for several conflicting effects observed on Cu zeolite catalysts. For the purpose, a comparative kinetic analysis of both reactions was coupled with a DRIFT technique study of surface species.
