High thermal stability ceria nano-shapes (spherical, polyhedral and rod) were successfully synthesized and tested as catalyst supports for high-temperature water gas shift reaction. Ceria nano-rod as catalyst support shows the highest catalytic activity and stability due to its unique properties.
