Water-Gas Shift (WGS) reaction kinetics over molybdenum carbide (Mo2C) and various transition metals supported on Mo2C were measured. The adsorption strength of CO over the admetal was identified as a descriptor for WGS over Metal/Mo2C. The location of the active sites for WGS is  the admetal surface or admetal-Mo2C interface.
