Hydrocarbons with different critical dimensions were used as probes to characterize the diffusion and adsorption properties of MCM-22 and MCM-56. Weber Morris mode proved that the diffusions were adsorption control process. The curliness of MCM-56 would prevent the access of large organic moleculars, may be the main reason for low diffusivities.
