Investigating Silver Ion Exchanged Zeolites Using Simultaneous Pair Distribution Function & Infrared Spectroscopy Techniques

Simultaneous PDF and DRIFTS technique was developed and used to study a series of Ag⁺ exchanged zeolites. This technique can disentangle the role of water and hydroxyl functionalities in the process of dehydration and reduction and how the zeolites supports structure influence the silver particle formation and dehydration processes.
