The catalysts were synthesized by one-step polymerization method.  Praseodymium  decreased the coke deposits and dispersed the metallic Ni on catalytic surface. Syngas produced reached H2/CO ratio around 1, which allows its direct use in the syngas-to-dimethyl ether process. Two greenhouse gases were transformed into a high valued product.
