P-W-BRC-10 Alkylation of Benzene with Dodecene over Y Zeolites with Different Si/Al Ratio

Cell parameter decrease when increasing time and temperature of treatment. The frequency  (580 cm-1) is a linear function of the network Si/Al ratio. The low conversion achieved in alkylation is caused by residual Na+ ions left after ion exchange, which  have a poisonous effect over acid sites.
