Niobium Containing Ceria-Zirconia Complexes for Oxygen Storage

This presentation will describe niobium’s potential to reduce or fully replace the cerium in oxygen storage capacity applications such as the three-way catalyst. It has been found that niobium, in the presence of precious metals, can increase the overall rate and extent of reduction of traditional Ce-Zr oxides.
