This study investigates conventional ceria treated at high temperature to induce the exposure of (100), (110) planes and nanostructured materials (nanocubes and nanorods) with preferential growth of specific surfaces. A correlation between the presence of more reactive planes and the specific rate of soot oxidation was found.
