Activated carbon monolith catalysts (ACMC-Pd, -Pt, -Ir , -Rh) are highly active for the hydrogenation of nitrobenzene to aniline at 80 C and 300 psi.  In addition, the catalyst supports show much lower pressure drop for the activated carbon monoliths compared to granular activated carbon.
