Catalytic Cracking of Palmitic acid by Flash Pyrolysis using Ni and Mo supported in SAPO-5

In this work Ni and Mo catalysts supported on SAPO-5 were evaluated in the cracking reaction of palmitic acid via flash pyrolysis technique. All the studied catalysts presented olefins as the major product when compared to alkanes and aromatics which can be associated with weak acidity of these catalysts.
