Adsorption of CO2 in Photocatalysis

We suggest a possible route to activate CO₂ on TiO₂ photocatalysis by depositing a thin layer of a basic metal oxide on the surface. From this work, we expect to obtain a mechanistic understanding so that we can optimize catalysts where adsorption of CO₂ primes the system for further reaction.
