O-Tu-Com-14 Radiofrequency Heating of Catalytically Functionalized Composite Magnetic Microparticles for Direct Amide Formation in Flow

The direct formation of amides from amines and carboxylic acids has been achieved in flow using radiofrequency heated catalytically functionalised composite magnetic microparticles. The magnetic and surface properties of sulfated titania coated nickel ferrite composite particles were modified in order to study their effect on this fundamentally important reaction.
