The influence of carbon-carbon bond order (C2H6, C2H4, C2H2) on the formation of oxidation products and surface species in the absence and presence of NO has been studied for silver-alumina HC-SCR catalysts. The results can be used for tailoring catalysts for emission control systems for bio-fuels.
