P-Tu-BRC-68 On the Effect of Hydrogen Addition on Lean NOx Reduction with Methanol over Ag-Al2O3

Addition of hydrogen enhances the lean NOx reduction by methanol over Ag-Al2O3 (2 – 4 wt% Ag) at low temperature, at the same time as the N2O formation increases. Over a 1 wt% Ag sample the effect is negligible. Increasing the hydrogen concentration influences the catalyst temperature and (by-)product formation.
