CH4 dehydroaromatization reactions were conducted with CH3COOH co-feed on Mo/H-ZSM-5 catalysts to investigate coupling CH4 dehydrogenation with oxygenate deoxygenation reactions. Co-processing CH3COOH caused oxidation of MoCx and increased the H2/CH4 ratio which acts to shift the CH4 to C6H6 equilibrium but does not affect the forward rate of C6H6 formation.
