Lignin could be a promising resource of bio-fules. In this work, we used benzyl phenyl ether as a model compound of lignin dimers for studying catalysis as a upgrading method which could remove oxygen functionalities and produce much of high number of carbon (C13) compound rather than C6-7 compounds.
