The selectivity of methanol-to-hydrocarbons conversion on H-ZSM-5 is systematically tuned at iso-conversion by varying feed composition and temperature. The relative rates of propagation of the aromatic- and olefin-based catalytic cycles in MTH conversion is described with the ratio of ethene/isobutane selectivity, which shows systematic trends with feed composition and temperature.
